GIRLS CAMP!!

so this was my first time at girls camp! it was so fun but kind of long cuz i got really homesick :( we went to heber valley camp....it was so nice!! so here is wat we did each day!

Monday-we arrived and got to our cabins! we stayed with our age groups and it was way fun! then we had lunch and then seperated into wards and our wards did crafts and games! i made a shirt that said "peace love softball" and a pillow case with my name and everything i loved and i made a flower to go in your hair! then we had dinner and each night they had a them and this day the theme was chinese so they had chinese food, decorations, and mulan music! after that we did a family home evening and learned about women in the book of mormon and along the way we were bribed with like money, candy, and a cell phone to call home!! after that we had dessert then went back to our campsites and had a camp fire and played games!!

Tuesday- this was my favorite day!! so for breakfast we had french toast and eggs then had a flag ceremony! after that we seperated into wards and this day we went to the challenge course and it was fun! we did these little courses and you had to rely on everyone to help you so it was like in life you need people beside you helping you and sometimes you dont have people! the first one we did was hold your parteners hand and walk on this wire and there were to of them and the seperated and it was really hard! then we did this up and over thing and have people help us over! then there was this one course called shark island and we had to figure out a way to grab the rope then swing across to this tiny platform! then there were lots more and the big one was you had to climb up a pole like 50 feet in the air then walk across this log that is round and that was about 20 feet then when you got to the other side you got to go down a zipline which was fun! then we went back and had lunch and for lunch we had this like tuna salad on croissant and then put together a skit and ours was really funny!! after that we seperated into our age groups again and went to different rotations until dinner! one rotation was we wrote a letter to ourselfs about the temple! another one was learning about being a good wife! then there was this game one and then another one where we wrote down something we could do to be a better person! then we went to dinner this night was mexican night and we had to serve! they decorated it and had music and cafe rio style food it was so yummy!! after that we had singing in the trees and then had the most amazing speaker ever!! she was soo funny! and she talked about missionary work and how she helped convert 30 people!! lol she was so funny! then for dessert we had ice cream sandwhices and had a bonfire!! it was so much fun!!!!

Wensday- this day we had omlets for breakfast and after the flag ceremony we did a service project and washed windows after that we did certification! then we went to lunch and had french bread pizza then went and canoed and played bingo that was way fun and really scary cuz we almost tipped once! then we came back and sang songs at the ampitheatre then this was american night and we roasted hotdogs over the fire then had apples with this like caramel in it and this like brown sugar mix and it was like apple pie! then we did crafts and had a group devotional and then played games with my friends

Thursday- we had pancakes and eggs for breakfast then packed our lunches for our hike we walked around the lake and it was like a jungle it was so pretty! then after lunch we did crafts and made button flowers it was so much fun! then we had so much free time then we had to go get ready for dinner this night was bishops night and italian night!! we had pasta and chicken shredded up in this sauce and breadsticks and salad it was so yummy! then we seperated into wards and our ward mod podged bottles and had testimony meeting then we went and had hot fudge brownie sundaes it was SO YUMMY!! then me and my friend were laughing so hard and then me and my friends climbed out a window and then me, mercedes, and morgan cut open glowsticks and put it everywhere haha it was fun and i got it in my hair! then we sat around the fire and had marshmellows! it was way fun

Friday-WE CAME HOME THIS WAS THE BEST DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jk haha

everynight we did thorns and roses and it was just so much fun!! and every cabin except ours pretty much had carpet but its ok and we had to hike forever just to get there!! everything was so nice!
